The swimming pool is not part of the healthy living centre

but also a great for keeping fit.  

Session are 3/4 hours 

on Monday and Thursday at 7:00 (public) and 7:45 (adults only)

Fridays 1:15 (over 50s) and 2:00 (line swimming)

Saturdays 2:00 (public) and 2:45 (und 9s and parents) 

The changing rooms normally open 15 minutes before sessions start

Swimming sessions cost

1 pound for adults

50 pence for school children

free for pre-schoolers

Often swimming is free during the school holidays

Goggles available for sales.

Nibbles and soft drinks available for sale at the exit.

Water toys and floation aids (wings etc.) available for loan.

Pool life-guarding and key-holding is provided by volunteers.

The life-guards get thoroughly trained and always need new members.
